Now days, the way many people interact with each other has changed because of the technology. In what ways has technology affected the type of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or a negative development?

There is no doubt that current technology has revolutionized our industry in many aspects. Our every day job is dependent upon technology. There are many advantages of using technology like easily accessible of online education, and it save time and money  but also there are many disadvantages too like it leads to addiction which has harmful effects on human life.

Firstly, there is no question that with the help of technology our online education system has dramatically changed by providing education system in the remote part of the world. I have seen in the remote part of Africa where students are getting education by online access to computers where good roads, drinking water are a big challenge. Without the help of technology we can’t reach to these people physically. People can get online tutorial or teachers by sitting any part of the world where teacher or doctor sits in Bangalore and guide who is sitting thousands of mile away from them.

Secondly, technology saves money and time in a big way. I remember few decades back agriculture was big challenge when we need to harvest our fields. It takes so much labor and time to get the job done but now days we have tractors and other equipments which harvest the fields in less money and time. Farmers can reach to market in less shorter time. It was not possible with the help of technology.

Lastly, technology has also given bad habits to our society. In the recent news people spend so much time on computers which lead them to addiction and in turn people faces many problems like eye weakness, obesity and may others.

In conclusion, there is no doubt that technology has transformed our lives but on the same time it made us dependable on it which makes has made harmful effects our society.

Essay – “In a war of ideas, it is people who get killed”. Does a common man suffer from a group’s ideology? Express your opinion, and support the same with reasons and examples

Essay No. 1

“In a war of ideas, it is people who get killed”. Does a common man suffer from a group’s ideology? Express your opinion, and support the same with reasons and examples.

From the time immemorial, mankind has always been at war with each other owing to the difference in opinions, faith and beliefs. Two thousand years back Jesus Christ was tortured and crucified, just because of the clash of ideas between two sects. Many people henceforth have sacrificed their life owing to the differences, in the way of thinking. I truly agree that “In a war of ideas, it is people who get killed” because it is the common person and his family only who suffers the loss of life, money and resources. Further he is forced to live his life in fear and has to cope up with the after effects of the mass destruction.

It is commonly observed, that in any riots which occur due to the hatred of the each other’s religious faith, it is the common man who loses his life. The partition of India and Pakistan in 1947 is an perfect example to illustrate how the country was divided on the basis of difference in ideology of few people led to the massacre of common people.

Further, the 9/11 attacks on the world trade centre in U.S clearly exhibited a dogma framed by one man and declared it to be an eternal truth.  It was the life of 3000 common people who were killed and their families have been suffering and living in fear henceforth.

Finally, the aftermath of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, atomic bombing is not hidden from anyone. Generations after generations are bearing the brunt, in form of deformities in children. We can say that due to the selfish interests of few people, the common man has always suffered.

Essay No. 2

“In a war of ideas, it is people who get killed”. Does a common man suffer from a group’s ideology? Express your opinion, and support the same with reasons and examples

Every individual have different views, ideas and opinions. The clash of ideas always results in violence. So it is quite true that “in the war of ideas, it is a person who get killed” as common people lose their life, mass destruction of their society and they lives in a fear of death.

Two groups of people fight with each other to show that their idea is superior which results in losing in the life of common people and the family members who are  left behind ,suffers. As can be seen in the year 1984 in India, there were riots in Delhi between Hindu and Punjabi community and lots of innocent people were killed.

Secondly, people can go to any extent in order to prove their beliefs and faiths. People act in rage and often forget the consequences of their activities which cause the destruction of the society.  As a well know example, the nuclear attack in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in which both the cities were destroyed completely and no one survived  in that attack. Till now the effect of that nuclear bombing can be seen in the new generation in form of genetic deformities.

Lastly, due to the war like environment the people near the surroundings always lives in a fear of losing their life. For Instance, at India and Pakistan border there are always some violence clashes going on and because of which the civilians living near the border areas always lives in a terror that anytime a war can occur.

From the evidences observed in the history, we can say that due to few people’s personal interests and beliefs, common man has always been suppressed and suffered.

Essay – Information revolution has changed the way of mass communications and had some negative and positive effects on individual lives as well as on society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Information revolution has changed the way of mass communications and had some negative and positive effects on individual lives as well as on society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Information revolution has changed our life drastically, as it has made roads to all walks of life. Undoubtedly it has changed the way of mass communication which has its own pros and cons. I agree with this statement that it has negative and positive effect on the person as well as the society because of easily access of information, get expert opinion, less wastage of time and on contrary, misuse of information and spreading rumors.

The first and foremost, due to information revolution of mass media, people can have easy access to information on any topic as it is available just a click away because of internet. Moreover, one can get any expert opinion about the information. Also, getting information fast saves a lot of time because everything is available online. For example, few decades ago we can use the library physically and read books and find any information, but now time has changed now in 21st century, we can access all the books, blogs, and information on our computer or television.

Every coin has two sides, so the information can also be abused. It can mislead people and can cause damage to society. Moreover, people misuse information and that can leads to rumors and even create violence. For instance, information or posts on social media like Face book and Twitter are unsafe as it can create problems in the on the name on religion or anything. Furthermore, wrong elements of society can use information in an inappropriate way like making bombs, guns.

In a nutshell, we can say that society should use the electronic information for the betterment of the society as a whole. If person have any doubt about any information then he should confirm first with Right to Information Act, before taking any action.

Essay-The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education: Einstein. what does he mean by that and do you think he is correct.

“The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education”: Einstein. What does he mean by that and do you think he is correct?

Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, William Shakespeare, Steve Jobs, Henry Ford are the few examples of successful people who were school dropouts and became successful in their lives. They all learned by themselves, and never let education hinder their ways of learning. “The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education” as quoted by Einstein means that the educational institutes restrict the fertile mind of a young student, by not able to utilize it in a proper manner. Formal education impedes the creativity of a child and does not allow building imagination. I think that Einstein has quoted rightly because to realize one’s true potential, one should follow his instincts, nurture it and finally reap the harvest of it.

The successful persons in this world have been truly following their passion, and nothing has been able to stop them. To illustrate this, Dhirubhai Ambani an Indian business tycoon, who was an illiterate, founded the Reliance Group of Industries just through his imagination and sheer iron will. Today Reliance Industries is a Fortune 500 company. Similarly Sachin Tendulkar an Indian cricket icon has nurtured his passion for the game. He did nothing else but played cricket. Thus he attained the feat which no other batsman has been able to achieve it.

Finally, we can say that one does not need to inculcate all the knowledge he comes across, instead, imbibe the skills which are relevant to him, and become proficient.

Essay -2

The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education: Einstein. what  does he mean by that and do you think he is correct.

One of the prerequisite of life is education. Learning and education are directly related to each other. When a person learn something and he get the certificate that process is known as education. Undoubtedly, the only thing that interfere in students learning, is education because pressure of career, education system and family expectation.

The first and foremost priority in person’s life in current era is education, but to get education person have to be dedicated towards learning. There is a lot of competition  in every field, which gives lot pressure to the students to choose their appropriate career. However, there is a huge drawback in our education system as well. For example, the knowledge of subjects like History, Physics and Chemistry is not applied in all professions, but students have to learn these subjects, which gives birth to the problem in their learning process.

A common phenomenon as seen in today’s world, is that the, students give up their interest due to family expectations and family pressure. Parents should allow their child to choose the career by his own choice because if he has interest and passion to do something then he can win the world. On the other hand if parents force their child to adopt certain path against the child’s wish, then  it can lead to dissatisfaction and eventually failure in the long run. One typical example is Sachin Tendulkar, who is the world’s greatest batsman and he chose his profession of cricket because it was his passion, and he did not deter away from it. His perseverance and keen interest in the game brought out the best in him with the full support  from his parents . Had he been indulged in some other activity, we would have not been able to watch this great master blaster.

To encapsulate, education is a smaller segment of learning, as the learning process continues till his last breath. Therefore, students should choose their desired profession without feeling pressure from parents and society. Moreover, government should also take some steps which can be implemented in the school and that leads to the motivation of  students.

“Value added by travel in Education”. Is travel a necessary component of education or not? Will scholar sitting at home have more knowledge than one who travels?

“Value added by travel in Education”. Is travel a necessary component of education or not? Will scholar sitting at home have more knowledge than one who travels?

Hiuen Tsang the famous Buddhist scholar and traveler from China visited India in 7th Century. His quest for the knowledge made him stay in India for fourteen years. He traveled throughout India and enjoyed learning about Buddhism. Travel with education is of utmost importance in the process of getting awareness and gaining expertise, learning innovative ideas and developing interpersonal skills.

Firstly, travelling while learning, helps one to find answers to his questions. While travelling a person relaxes, and can practically observe what he has learnt in books. For instance a history student is delighted, when he identifies the historical monuments and artifacts he has learnt about in the theory.

It is a universal fact that still water become stale after some time, while running water always remains fresh. Similarly when a student broadens his horizon and meet different people, it brings to him innovative ideas to learn from. He opens up to new languages, habits, cultures, way of living and technology. The founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg had amazed people around the world when he spoke fluently in Mandarin during a press conference. Thousands of people travel to India in a zest for attaining peace and tranquility through learning the ancient traditional methods of yoga and meditation.

Finally, in order to have a maximum exposure for the students many Institutions organize “Exchange Programs”. For example University exchange program, Defence exchange program, Skills exchange program to name a few. In this program, students and experts from around the world travel to different countries, in order to learn and understand new concepts and strategies.

In the end, travel in education forms a necessary component in the life of a learner, as he gets a chance to gain some practical knowledge which a student cannot attain only through books.

Essay-In under developed countries tourism has disadvantages and can be said the opposite as well. Discuss your opinion with relevant examples.

In under developed countries tourism has disadvantages and can be said the opposite as well. Discuss your opinion with relevant example.

Tourism means visiting different places away from their residence for leisure, relaxation, fun and enjoyment. Now a day’s tourism has become an industry, however, some developing countries economy is mainly depend upon tourism. Under developed countries are also getting benefits from tourism.

First and foremost is that it boosts up the economy, development of infrastructure and popularize the country. Every country wants to become economical stronger. As under developed country’s economy is not much stronger as compared with developed countries, their tourism industry can support the country to boosts up their economy condition. As people from another countries visit tourist places the foreign exchange will increase and there will be more flow of money. Such a great example set by the Nepal is how there 80% economy is depending upon tourism industry.

Tourism initiates the need for the development of infrastructure and services. Government tries to provide best services to tourists, by bringing improvement in road connectivity, hospitality services, more airline services, transportation facility and rail networks. All these development projects would require more staff, thus it increases the employment rate. Likewise, the number of hotels have also increased in Goa, Amritsar, Agra, Rajasthan and most important towns in India, because of tourism.

Increase in the tourism in a country creates a brand value of the country. As “Taj Mahal” comes in seven wonder of the world it further popularizes  India.

In nutshell I would like to say that tourism plays a major role in developing countries and there should be more security of tourists and no exploitation.  As there is a slogan of “athiti devo bhav” in india.

Essay 2

In the underdeveloped countries, tourism has disadvantages and can be said opposite as well. Discuss your opinion with relevant example.

In recent decades, low cost airfares has made international travel easier due to which people from all over the world travel to different countries. While it is clear that, tourism brings obvious benefits to the countries especially underdeveloped ones like, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, South Africa because it helps to boost their economy, helps in developing infrastructure and countries popularity increased at international level.

A common phenomenon, seen in current era is that people travel quite frequently, which helps the country’s economy. If an international tourist go to underdeveloped countries for holidays then it generate foreign exchange. Moreover, there are some countries in the world which are totally dependent on tourism. For example, 90% of Nepal’s economy depends upon tourism, as they don’t have any industries they import everything.

Secondly, tourism helps in developing infrastructure of the countries, which automatically boost up the jobs. Furthermore, standard of living improves, as new hotels, roads, transportation service increases. Most importantly, employment rate will increase, because to build infrastructure and hotels we need the man power and staff. For instance, India is famous for its festivals, music, monuments, temples, historical facts, beaches of Goa. Tourists come to enjoy holidays and to relax so they need good hotels, reliable transportation service, and so government develops hotels and other infrastructure according to international standard.

Last but not the least, tourism helps in increasing the popularity of the country, as a tourist is treated well and he enjoyed staying there, he will tell other people and give the positive reviews, this can help to improve the country’s image internationally.  One typical example is Australia; its international image is so good, owing to the hospitality it provides to the visiting tourists.

To encapsulate, global tourism is very beneficial for the country’s economy and its growth. Therefore, government should take some steps to promote tourism on an international level. For example India is tag line is “Incredible India”.

In underdeveloped countries, tourism has disadvantages and can be said the opposite as well. Discuss your opinion with relevant example.

In the course of time, development is increasing day by day. Due to which sundry countries has developed and many are developing. There are various ways by which countries take benefits for their development, so tourism is one of the greatest way which helps in whole development of countries in boosting economy, infrastructure development and elicits countries popularity as well as spread brand image.

To begin with, growth in economy of the country plays an essential role in presentation of the country. When people travel from one country to another country, it generates the foreign exchange and it opens the door for development. Then countries’ government gives benefits to tourists so that they can come again. For instant, Sri Lanka is famous for it’s scenic beauty, waterfalls and beaches which makes it an ideal location for film production.

Moreover, tourism helps in development in infrastructure due to it extension in employment, hotels, transportation, roads, hospitals and in food business like various types of cuisines emerges in the market. The benefits can be passed on to many unemployed and talented persons who can be trained at an international level. Such a great example like India, it is famous for its traditional food recipes, for Ayurveda, yoga and meditation, historical temples and multiple cultural programs. People come there and enjoy all things and take back with them sweet memories.

Furthermore, tourism enhances the country’s good image among the other countries. If tourists are satisfied then they would spread the word and we can expect more footfall and the country can emerge as a brand of tourism.

In addition to it many crucial steps must being taken by the government for the safety of the tourists, in any country. To put in a nutshell, tourism can become a elixir for the rapid development of economy in underdeveloped countries and they should apprise their efforts fully.

Essay-Successful sports stars and glamorous film stars are the role models for many youngsters. Do you agree/Disagree ?

Successful sports stars and glamorous film stars are the role models for many youngsters. Do you agree or not.

Sports stars and film stars play an important role in shaping up the life of many youngsters. Youngsters follow their favorite stars blindly, and try to imitate them in multiple ways.  I agree with the above statement, because film stars and sport stars inspires the young generation to be successful like them, pick up the right career according to their respective interest and set further example for many upcoming and  inspiring youngsters.

A Youngster, gets motivated early in his life from the film stars and sport stars, as they grow up watching them. They follow the footsteps of their favorite idol and want to be successful just like them. It is a good sign for the youngsters to understand their passion and follow it with dedication. The youngsters are ready to face the hardships, which are required to get the reward of success. In a typical example, Indian Cricket Vice Captain Virat Kohli, pursued his career by getting inspired from Sachin Tendulkar the great Indian Cricket icon. Also the famous actor Shahruk Khan’s rags to riches story has inspired many youngsters to follow his lead.

Secondly, many youngsters have identified their career and follow them intensely, keeping in mind their cherished star all the times. For instance, thousands of youngsters in China start practicing for Olympics as early as 3-4 years and get training from the previous gold medalist and coaches. As a result the performance of players at Olympics has enhanced in the last 3 decades. Similarly in India, many new sport stars, in the games like shooting, boxing, tennis, wrestling, hockey have emerged and are paving a path for youngsters to succeed.

Lastly, in addition to setting goals for youngsters these, sports and film stars should also take a social responsibility of not endorsing for liquor, cigarettes and pan masalas which are hazardous of health.
